2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Power & Handling

The Grand Cherokee lineup is powered by four engines. The standard engine is a Pentastar 3.6L V6 that generates 295 hp/260 lb-ft of torque. This engine is configured with standard RWD but 4WD is offered. The next engine in the lineup, available to power most trims, is a 5.7L V8 that creates 360 hp/390 lb-ft of torque. The SRT trim is home to a 6.4L V8 engine that produces 475 hp/470 lb-ft of torque. The final of the four engines is a 6.2L supercharged V8 that pumps out 707 hp/645 lb-ft of torque. All V8 engines are configured with 4WD. Jeep mates all four engines with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

2020 Ford Edge Power & Handling

The Edge lineup is powered by only two engines. The standard engine, powering all but one trim level, is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 250 hp/275 lb-ft of torque. The standard drivetrain configuration is front-wheel drive but all-wheel drive is offered, which isn't bad but it's definitely not four-wheel drive. The ST trim level is powered by a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that cranks out 335 hp/380 lb-ft of torque. Ford equips this engine with standard all-wheel drive.

2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Features & Design

Jeep offers the Grand Cherokee in four luxurious trim levels, jam-packed with features, one off-roading trim level, and two performance trim levels. The base Laredo model comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple and Android smartphone integration, rear parking sensors, a six-speaker sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 6-speaker sound system. The Limited, Overland, and Summit build on that with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, heated front and rear seats, leather upholstery, a premium 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and noise-canceling technology. The Trailhawk offers underbody skid plates, an electronic rear differential, and an adjustable air suspension. The final two trims, the SRT and Trackhawk add adaptive sport-tuned suspensions, performance tires, Brembo brakes, and specialized 4WD systems.

2020 Ford Edge Features & Design

Drivers can only choose from four trim levels when it comes to the Ford Edge. The base model is the SE and it comes with a rearview camera, dual USB ports, Apple and Android smartphone integration, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker sound system. The SEL and Titanium add to that with front parking sensors, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a hands-free liftgate, and a heated steering wheel. The Edge's ST trim level tries to keep up with the Grand Cherokee's SRT and Trackhawk trims but it only comes with a sport-tuned suspension and sharper steering.

There is no doubting it now, the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the SUV to choose! With seven trims levels, there is a model for everyone and the power underneath the hood is simply outstanding.
